More info please...

... on this Big Vin and Devious come help me What else will I need for these ITBS? If I drive my car daily, how will they suit my needs? Will I need filters for them? Sorry guys this whole ITB thing is new to me. If make a custom setup how much would it cost and what will I need? And finally when its all said and done is it really worth it? Ive heard ITBs only yeald a few horses and better throttle resonse. Thanks in advance and wish me luck my NA project (dont get excited it wont be for a couple of years )

yummy on that itbs pic dkdeleon
It's not much work to make it happen compared to the money involved. A/F tuning is critical though It is streetable.Yes, throttle response is def. better. Faster revs to redline, and if it would pass the smog visual, then it is all good

That looks deadly. Is it hard to tune / setup everything with one of those setups?

well, you need to run some type of piggyback ecu to control the A/F. HKS Pro V or other types will do with a dyno testing

questions...

I am not experienced with itbs at all.. so keep that in mind if my questions are stupid..
but the itbs are still pulling in hot air off of the engine compartment right?
And there is not a filter? So is this not for street and purley a track application?
Has anyone ever run them and made something like a reverse header for them with a filter and routed to pull in colder air?

on the track, you can run it open or with a filter. For the street, yes a filter is always recommend. There is another piece that you can attach to the horns to connect the filter to, an Adapter plate...
A few people have routed an air induction to them but for mostly, the itbs suck whatever air temp is there. Big gains regardless of the air temps.

well I would have to say the range is about 15 - 30%. I can only estimate because I have not seen dyno charts with itbs on a KA. Only a 4AG...but that was a D1 drift car. It had 198-200hps.
