Need help with exhaust...(2 Loud.)

Installed a 3" cat back exhaust system with no resonator and gutted out my cat. My exhaust now is WAY 2 loud. Would installing one of those high flow cat/ resonators help?
Thanks....

hmm, im going to gut my cat. Oh no, now it is too loud. Whats going on?

What did you think it was going to sound like? Weld a resonator in and get a high flow cat.

Thanks for the replies. I went with 3" for the future ka-T mod. I knew gutting the cat and going with 3" exhaust would be loud, but did not think it would be THAT damn loud. I'll get that HF cat/resonator in and see how it goes.
Thanks again...

2.5" exhaust with a gutted cat, magnaflow muffler and header are very load! The last time i got pulled over the cop told me he could hear me coming so he pulled his lazer gun and yup i was speeding.
i'd say to go with a resonater and a stock looking muffler. it will be much queter and perform about the same, that's what i did. Now if they hear me coming it's beacuse of the nosie from the lifters.
