rebuilding engine

I'm looking at rebuilding at least the top end on my KA and I'm wondering if any one has done this and could give me some pointers. I've got the factory repair manual and another manual that I picked up at Checkers... are there any aftermarket replacements for the gaskets and such that will handle higher power figures, or am I stuck rebuilding with OEM parts? what is an average price figure for parts on this kind of job?

thanks

JR

1. SEARCH!

2. www.ka24de.com

3. Nuts and bolts, and a few specialty tools is all it is. I haven't done mine yet, and most people just buy another de from somebody upgrading to a SR, cheaper.
