Sorry for my ingnorance, but I am having my KA engine repuilt. Had an offer on a RD, but turned out that it would cost around $4000 to have it repair. I want to get a header and I want to purchase the right one, but I am not sure what KA engine is in my 1991 240SX. Can some one helpe me out.

I am very excited about building this car up. I plan having it NA until I can afford a turbo kit for it.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me out so I can get that header order and to my mechanic ASAP. I need to know what type of KA engine is in my car!

Another question, what type of cams would be good for the type of engine I currently have in my car? This is also important, because I want these parts put in while the engine is pulled out of the car. Does DC make a header for my car?

If anyone can give me some more suggestions about getting this bad boy some extra get up and go while the engine is out, I appreciate it.

Mad thanks to all of you out there that can help me out, as this is my first RWD car, and my first Nissan car. I have a Nissan pickup and it has taken a beating and keeps on ticking!

if it is stock its a 2.4 liter dohc. as far as the header dc does make a header for it. as far as cams google it. there are so many out there try and find a nissan/240sx specialist. the ka will treat you good if you take car of her. invest in premium plug, wires and heat wrap your header. as far as xtra hp there are a lot of little things you can do. weight reduction is over looked so much. no matter if your drift,drag or scca weight is enemy 1. search here for all the little stuff!!!!

KA hates 4-1-1..

OBX is decently priced...

Cams? uh..JWT makes cams for it..but it's overpriced by alot, not worth it IMHO.
