Wierd Problem, Look

Hey im having a wierd problem. I bought a 89 240sx, and i just replaced the battery, replaced all the fluids. Now, with the new battery, my digital speedo finally works ... sometimes. My gauge cluster lights do not work, and usually the first time i start the car in the day, the digi speedo works. Also, my tail lights/brake lights, 3 out of the 4 are very dim, and the left tail light on the driver side, is very bright. My two top brake lights work fine. Im not sure if its related but theres some sorta electrical problem happening here. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

personally, i think it would be to much effort to test all the wires and connections..if you ran new wires through the whole car, you would have the accomplishing feeling that the problem has been solved

It hapens to me too: brand new lights, put them on, they feel dim, and u change them from sockets and they light up fine...... defect on 240's live with it.

or do some type of swap/experiment and put those big LED lights

I fixed the tails .. it was a shorted wire. Also, my alternator is putting out 12.1 volts, so would you think thats causing the digi speedo problem?
