wiring issue

So i bought a KA24de with a 5 speed tranny out of a 93 240sx, to go in place of my KA24e, with an auto, and i noticed that there are a few extra wires in my harness, then the 93's, is this because the 93 had air conditioning, and my didn't, or does this have to do with the fact that my 90 240sx has an automatic with overdrive?
If anyone has done this swap before, or have any suggestions

did u buy a 91+ wiring harness, and a lower harness for the 5spd?

the only differences between the wiring in the 89 and 93 is the connection to the ECU is different..other than that they are identical...excpet for the dtrls in the 91+ but those arent even near an engine..

as for air conditioning i dont beleive there is anywires on the engine for it

ya did get it, but there was many differences between them, like the idle air control, use different plugs, and different colored wires, and i still have to wire the knock sensor into the e.c.u
