I'm new to the forum, I have a 1995 240sx and I love it. I was wondering if the SR20DET swap was legal for street use in Oregon. I know it's illegal in Cali. because of SMOG testing but I can't think of any reason it would be illegal here in Oregon. Thanks for the Help.

It's illegal in the entire country due to federal regulations.

 

yep, it sure is illegal. but that doesnt stop all those people from doin it!

something of that nature.... as long as the receipt says motor and off-road use in the same sentence, u bet it's not allowed for normal street use....

dammit.... I wishe the SR20DET was legal to use on the streets...

 

sr20det is basically an illegal engine! :sad: i wish i never found out about this....sigh o well who cares ill do it cause ive been planing this for a long time.
