No it is not. Domestics are cheaper to buy and maintain and the departments have to operate within budgets - and that's how you end up with domestic cruisers. If BMW bid lower than Ford then that's what the cops would be driving.

For the 2000 Olympics BMW did donate i think 12 or 14 Z3 coups, to the ATL police dept. So like it was said before, they take what the can get really. It also depends on what the insurance will be on a specific car too for the dept to make a decision on a cruser. Insurance is a ......

I F***ing hate insurance companies. They are all a bunch of scams. Especially if you live in Jersey. I have my car insured in NC now but Jersey insurance companies are the biggest **** suckers out there.
