the nissan urvan. available with a zd30dd diesel engine (3 Litre 4cyl) or a ka24de. are they seriously still making the ka24de engine and putting it into new vehicles or is this old/not current. if so, whats new about it? from the picture, it looks like it has a serpentine belt to run all accessories. it also said the compression ratio is 9.2/1. what is that black thing on top of the intake mani? i just cannot believe nissan is still going to this powerplant and putting it into current model year vehicles.

seen that already. i think all they are trying to say is that its economical because it has dohc and basically a flow through head design that makes it more efficient. but nothing new, no new information.
