Ok about 4 days ago the car started up first crank and ran like a dream for about an hour and then the lower rad hose blew off....ever since then the car hasn't started since...i have compression, i have fuel and i have spark...but she wont turn over...i have double checked everything and i have no idea what is causin this to happen....

Now i need the help of some one that knows this swap or can just help me in general....if ne one can help me please let me kno...i live in jersey

first question

when the hose came off,, how long did you drive on it??

 

the car shut off by itself and then the hose blew off

 

hmmm so it overheated then blew off..... im just trying to gather the chain of events.

 

yea it ran and then the car shut off...about 30 secs later the lower rad hose blew off....ever since then the car would not start back up

 

damn bro.... now did you have liquid all over your motor possibly from your fan..... water may have gotten into some electrical part and now your not getting a solid connection somewhere...

what are the sounds that you heard before and after the hose blowing off.. also any strange smells?

 

the motor was not making any strange noises before the rad hose blew off...but i did have to change the spark plugs becuase the were fauled but other than that nothing was wrong wit the car

 

on RB's when they over heat so bad that it blows the damned hoses off, chances are the CAS is crap now. they cant take much heat.

 

thats what im coming to the conclusion of...that the cas is shot
