I am getting extremely interested in Time Attack and JGTC events. I would like to know more about these. I have been trying to research them online but cant find much. I wanted to know where are these events held so I can watch them? also, how can I get started so I can actually compete and drive? where do I begin? driving school? build a car for daily use and sometimes track use? buy a project track car? try to find a team? do carting first? i dont know how to start? where do I go? who should I talk to? my main goal is to drive a JGTC car... how do I get there? sorry if that's a lot of questions to answer..

It's a great way to get started, only thing you need is a helmet, if you don't have one, you can rent one there.
Nothing special, hell, you can even race your wife's mini-van if you want.

Its how many drivers get started, i'll be starting this year. There are also a few others here who do it as well.

 

welcome to TEH NEWEST FAD, time attack, i wish instead of time attack they would just have circuit racing with multible cars against each other, but i would also want to get into time attack, i need info, i cant find anything

 

Check out NASA (not the space progam, NASA pro racing) as well, they have many different types of events.
