Buying a 92 240SX

Yeah so I'm a newb to japanese imports. I've been a VW guy for years. I've had six of them: a 96 gti 2.0, a 97 GTI-VR6 (which I still own), an 85 Jetta, a 93 Corrado SLC, a 92 GTI 8v and I currently also own an 88 GLI that is getting parted. I've always liked the s14 styling and have wanted a RWD drive car forever now. Anyway, my buddy decided to sell his project car and I'm picking it up here in a few days. he also has an SR20DET redtop if anyone is interested in that. I plan on doing some suspension mods, wheels/tires little engine mods. Just want it to run good and introduce me to the world of RWD. I like to do track events and autox when it fits into my schedule so that is mainly what I want to do with this car. Maybe further down the road I'll do a swap or turbo the KA. For now I'll just have some fun with it as it is. Any guys around here from Houston and know the places to go for parts and whatnot? I try to do a lot of my own work but it would be nice to know where to take my car when it's something I can't do or if I need a part. Looking forward to good times with my s13
