Just wanted to stick my nose in because it's hard to find a current thread talking about auto-X. Regardless I have to agree with Raine, 240sx's are fun as hell but don't expect to win class championships with them.

Right Now the car that's OWNING the stock classes something fierce are the Mini Coopers. For the National Championships just held this year, for G-Stock and H-Stock, Mini-Cooper S occupied almost every spot in the top ten. In G stock a Celica grabbed 9th, and in H stock a BMW 318i got 4th and a Civic Si got 5th.

Personally I like just to have fun, so even though my 240sx, even without the engine, puts me in STS. Picture a 240 with minimal mods and street tires going against a more heavily modified WRX with sticky tires. Yeah... I get killed in my class but I'm all about just going faster with what I have. I'm currently preping a Jetta for H-stock racing which I expect to lose in as well, but I still look to be competitive in it.

Actually this thread is promting me to do something that I was thinking about... Look for a new thread under motorsports and I'll list the top three cars in each class from the championships.
