I like the SR20 because you can get more bang for your buck. The RB swap costs more money and throws the weight of the car off. Although I would like the RB26DET swap, the SR20 is just way cheaper. HAHA.

Hey Nick, check out my thread. Ill be updating it soon.

Compared to the RB26, yes it's better bang for the buck...
but compare it to the RB25... sure you're putting out a lot of money at first, but unlike the SR20, you don't need to upgrade the turbo to make huge numbers. Just turn up the boost a little.
My SR20 has the Garrett GT2871R, Turbo Manifold, 550cc injectors, FMIC, and Exhaust and yeah I love it, but I'm pretty sure I could be making the same numbers or even more with just an RB25, FMIC, and exhaust. So in the end, I would be actually spending the same money or possibly less, just by going with the RB25... and if I ever decide to upgrade the turbo/fuel components, then it wouldn't even compare to the SR20.

Just my two cents.

Personally, i think its sick. And thats what what matters to me..

go ahead and flameee away.. :P

Also, im pretty sure its getting started tommorow, and possibly start the 5-speed swap. but this dude said hes gonna try to get his whole crew up here and he can probably get it done in like an hour. cause they do it so much.

Also i broke the casing for the fuel line thingers. and electrical taped it...and took off the buck teeth fog lights. +++WEIGHT REDUCTION!!!!!

believe it or not they weighed like 5 pounds each ahaha.

ill just say have a plan.. if you are an active racer, you will spend money no matter what.. just have a plan that way you will not waste money. I can honestly say i have not wasted much money in my 9 years.

do what works for you, however if your cash is limited, be careful what you buy.

ps

don't put things such as "flame away"

also you could have spent 6 dollars on 2 cans of engine cleaner bro. you will get nothing but honest feedback from me man.

also don't post ANYTHING online if its going to hurt your feelings.

that is all

you have to pick one or the other bro when you are on a budget.. trust me. my car looked like **** for a long long time. its not flashy but to me its "sick" or whatever you want to call it, it gets the job done very well.

also paint with rust and dirt just doesn't look good.

it was a cool color, but my work just looked much more clean with a clean painted bay.

Lol, yeah once I get a proper tune i may be up around 325whp, but like Adam said... Projects are never done. I still want tomei pon cams, rocker arm stoppers, arp head studs... one day I'll be happy with my cars power.

I think where I'm at now is good for what I want to do though. 325whp for drifting, some say it would be too much... but when I went drifting with the stock SR20, fmic, and exhaust, I felt like I never had enough.
