i just look around for the deal... some people just get what they can or whatever, but i know people who have people who know people LOL... tuning should be sometime mid september... with the tubro upgrade i'm hoping for close to if not more than 350 wheel...

i got a little update!!! finally some parts came in... and it means it's time to get back to work... i've enjoyed my car long enough... time to turn some wrenches on it...
NR>G short hub (thanks skinnyroadster!!), and NR>G V2 Quick Release... and the Replica Nardi Torino Taniguchi model.... and i finally got my lap top outta the shop too.. but that's not important...

and then, the money maker.... S15 Spec R compressor housing, and exhaust housing!! i know the compressor housing is an upgrade, and should flow a lot more air, but not too too sure about the exhaust side... came with WG actuator and gaskets, and SS oil/water lines...

other than that, got the ebrake set up coming for my 30mm Z brakes, now to get rotors and lines....
install/updates soon to come on the parts i have!!

as for the general quality, my buddy has the same one in his car, and if he didn't say it was a replica, you'd NEVER know... has the exact same flex as a Nardi and not like the ebay boop wheels (trust me, i had a ebay boop $30 shipped wheel, GARBAGE)... it's REALLY nice, real leather... in all respects, it's a REAL Nardi, just not made by Nardi...
went and took mine for a drive, and honestly, i drove my buddys S14 with a real Torinio, and it feels EXACTLY the same....

i knew there was somthing strange about that nardi lol. i was like thats way too small and wtf is with the fake carbonfiber then i saw u said it was fake lol
anyway i miss mine but since i couldnt afford a new one i had bought a used one and the leather was already bad. i could only use it for a couple months b4 the florida heat made the bad leather sticky. im still hoping i can get it rewrapped in leather.

SO, i did a lot of work yesterday... doing turbo works.... hopefully this solves my problems for a while cause pulling turbo/mani setups out of two cars SUCKS... especially a big T28 in a complete engine bay (AC lines, PS line etc)...
anyways, i think i found my exhaust leak.... no wonder my car was so sluggish getting into boost...

comparison shot, S15 Spec R comp housing on left, GTIR comp housing on right... unfortunately the S15 housing DID NOT FIT, due to the machined ring on the housing, not being small enough to mate to the GTIR center housing... FAIL... i think i need an adapter ring, can probably order one from Garrett..

couple shots of the compressor and turbine wheel... strange thing is, that when i test fit the Spec R exhaust housing, it did not fit, the GTIR turbine wheel was WAY to big... GTIR T28 better than a Spec R GT28R??!?!?!

finished product, ready to go in, brand new OEM turbo/manifold gasket, new OEM Nissan MLS exhaust manifold gasket, and repaired waste gate pin... this GTIR turbo is pretty damn big for a T28....

initial results???? HOLY **** THIS CAR HAULS ***!!!! .... seriously, i went from a struggling 5-6lbs under WOT, to an instant 9.5lbs @ 2800rpm... amazing... the response from my built turbo is absolutely INSANE..
now that everything is fixed, it's time for round two on the dyno... aiming for that big big 340-350.... i made some SERIOUS power @ 7lbs, so i'm thinking if i throw 10-11 more lbs at it i should be around my 340-350whp mark...
might bring it back to Z fever this Saturday, and have Martin finish tuning it (he had to stop last time, mid tuning, due to above exhaust leak)...
results soon to come....

i don't really wanna say what my numbers were cause the tune wasn't finished, and i don't want people getting the wrong idea about my car be slow or something...
but it was around 260 wheel @ 7lbs....

if the 8-10HP per 1psi formula holds true, then i should see a gain of 80-100 HP on top of the "260" i made at 7lbs, as i plan on tuning for 17-18lbs.... right on the edge of the stock head gaskets capability...
normally i wouldn't push to hard, but the guy tuning it said that my SR was one of the healthiest he's seen, and the mods were done correctly, and support my build nicely...
