also a couple other things i picked up...

gauge pod- to get my wideband out of my ash tray hole
brand new OEM FPR
GReddy 3" coupler (mine on the TB has got a tear in it, not leaking...yet

so thanks ryan!!!

pic of the sweetness....

and a cool shot i thought you guys might enjoy.... DD and Spee-D

well got my GReddy Suction kit installed, as well as my Z Maf wired in, and installed my NRG large oil catch can and hoses ran...

without further adieu, the pics...

and the days project begins....

pic of old intake set up in car...

removed, and compared to the GReddy Suction Kit.... FAIL!!!!!

i kinda like this shot... it's serious business.... i went from a bolt on inlet, to a stud and nut, studs sourced off my old SR manifold... it actually fixed the half stripped thread on the lower side... WOOT WOOT... just means i bought an extra compressor housing for nadda...

GReddy Suction Kit, and TRUST AIRNIX installed...

now to wire in the Z MAF..... solder, heat shrink, and elec tape!! no fancy loom, just function...

very nice....

DONE!!!

now on to recirculating my GReddy Type S and finally putting in my NRG catch can...

"damnit Jim, I'm a 240 owner, not a plumber!!"

catch can installed over by cruise control actuator...

final install shots... recirc shown, as well as CC hose set up...

there's a lot going on in my bay, and i'm not too too sure if i like it myself... but it looks OK and it WORKS....

now to tune in my Z MAF, relocate my AEM UEGO wide band from the ashtray hole, to the steering column...

more to come... just taking a cool down break as it's like 9000+ degreez out here....

okay, a little premature update, i'm just kinda pumped...

so i went to tune in my Z MAF (i know, for some of you, super elementary), and i got it right on the first try... i programmed it in, adjusted the Injection multiplier K constant, and got it dialed in to 14.7AFR at idle and 3k under no load.... WOOTWOOT

starting... Jessica Alba FTW

working on it, a bit or trial and error, but nothing major!!

and the AFR @ 750RPM... this one goes out to Epstien (step one complete bro!)

now just to tune in for higher boost.. gotta make some data logging runs, i need to hit test and tune night at the Gainesville raceway, ******* house arrest!!

it started raining, but it just stopped like 5 minutes ago... i love florida, suns beaming down, and it's a torrential downpour for five minutes, and then it's all calm and sunny again...

sorry for the multipost... i'll get back to relocating my AFR gauge now i have a single mountable pod for it... and the top of the steering column will not work... looks like on top the dash, to the left or right of the cluster.... UGH....

okay, so i went and got my Lifetime Alignment at Firestone today... good news and bad news..... good news is i got my alignment.. bad new is, the most positive camber i can get in the back is -3.2, which yeah i know, "mad tyte camber yo"... BUT i can afford tires every 6 months... ALSO, the main thing, my driver side front lower control arm is ****ed... so i need a repalcement...

well, as some of you know, i don't have a lot of money, so i bought a **** load of Godspeed parts... i know, i know!!!! you don't need to tell me... but lifetime warranty and every possible arm on the car for under $850... here's what i ordered..

REAR
Rear lower control arms
Rear upper control arms
Rear toe rods
Rear traction rods
Rear 28.5mm sway bar
Energy suspension end links

FRONT
Front tension rods
Front lower control arm
Front 30.5mm sway bar
Energy Suspension end links
Solid sway bar bushings

all with pillow ball mounts... i know what you're thinking "OH NO!!! NOT GODSPEED!!!1!!ONE!!", but hell, for the price, and the life time warranty, i can't go wrong as i can't afford to drop $2k+ in all my arms.... i'll be doing a 500-1000-2000 mile review as i go along, as most people say don't get the cheap ****!! but never try this stuff to begin with, so i figure why not, i'll be the guinny pig... if it breaks, i send it back and get a new one....

i also picked up a stainless steel braided ISIS high pressure power steering line, to replace the OE one that exploded on me two weeks ago... going to match my 1pc clutch line nicely....

SO, get all my suspension on, get a decent alignment now that my **** wont be all F'd up, and tighten it up a bit, and i'll be good to go...

oh, and been driving the old girl all day today.... MAN I LOVE BOOST!!! i missed my baby... been laid up for what? three weeks now??

As long as your toe setting is within spec you should be ok on tire wear....

keep up updated on those suspension pieces

front toe is **** cause the inner driver side toe rod would not spin free... and he didn't want to snap it off in the rack.... maybe something to do with the driverside LCA being bad?

Lca should not have anything to do with toe rod.... that happens from time to tie.....threads on the inner rod gets stuck in the outer end...pb blast and
use 2 wrenches.. one on the tie rod end and the other on the inner rod and muscle it loose.... never seen one break in the rack...

yeah, the inner wont move, he got the lock nut spinny, and even put a pipe wrench on the inner, and it wouldn't break loose... and he was putting some stank on it...

cool. yeah try the pb use one wrench ( think a 19mm) to hold the rod end and think a 14mm wrench on the inner rod...This is where good tools comes into play...snap on wrenches wont spread like cheaper brands....

Lmk how it goes...
