bah you make me so jealous my car looks like such a pos now makes me sad people tell me it looks nice but i know its not so it just pisses me off when they tell me its nice.

i wish i had the money to buy a nice shell right now. i want to finish my car already i been working on it for years now

 

beleive it or not, i'm the same way,.... i know what's under all the glam and glitz of my car, and it isn't pretty... paint, front end, etc... all sketchy.. so you're not the only one bro... my **** looks real good from 10-12+ feet away, then you get up close and you're like "oh......"

 

i love your car.
but his is just really nice. :P

 

car getting tuned this weekend right? sorry man, getting anxious to se what this set-up will lay down now that the issues have been resolved

 

naw, not this weekend... i had to dump over $1500 in my tow rig AKA the silverado...

that and the FReddy oil pan is leaking... when i took the pan out when i first got the motor (remember the knocking video???), i kinda stripped the three back bolt threads in the back side upper oil pan... i knew it would hold for a while with the OEM pan. but between the weight of the FReddy aluminum pan, and the drift event, the back side where the threads are stripped, is now leaking... like 10 drops a night, and who knows how much as i'm driving and the oil pressure it up to like 65psi...


luckily, i pulled the upper oil pan off the blown motor, knowing i would need to replace the current one... just a matter of getting out there and swapping them out... UGH..

then i got my Z brake set up almost complete, just waiting on the stainless conversion lines, slotted zink plated rotors, and R33 ebrake cable to come in..

so regardless, that's gonna be a big big "DO WORK" day... gonna try to get eveything knocked out and ready for the drift event at Desoto on the 4th (same track as last time)...

 

SO, guys, i did a little test fit of the new CST Zero-1 Hypers... in case you guys don't know, the sizes of all four are 17x9.5 +15.. the tires, with thier MASSIVE stretch (which i can't stand), are Yokohama Prada Sped 2 205/45/ZR17...

i think about 3/4 lower, and some wider tires, at LEAST 235's with a roll and it would look OK... not too sure about how the gunmetal clashes with the black.. might grow on me... who knows....

 

wheels look nice but stretch tires kill the look man i dunno how people like that lol

 

me either bro.... that's the way i got em... i think with some 245's it'd look pretty sick...

still not sure of the gunmetal/black combo... i'm kinda used to my gold/black combo...

 

i almost forgot....

i just got my truck back yesterday, damn thing runs AWESOME, and the audio PUMPS.... two JL W3 12's and Polk Audio all around, powered by two separate Alpine amps in a custom rack sounds as awesome as it rides!! so i gave her a quick bath in the rain, just couldn't stand the 2 months of sitting grunge all over it... then when i parked it, i had to take a pic of the stupidity that is my car "collection...

either way, I'm pretty anxious for the 4th to come around, so i can see how the new truck tows the 40... another 3 hour trip to a drift event....

yeah, that black and gold combo has REALLY grown on me... i didn't like it at first, but now, i kinda like it, especially after seeing video of my car, can't see any detail on my car and it brings out the choppin rotas..

 

the 240 dosnt weigh much ive seen those trucks pull boats that weigh 5x what the 240 weighs easy lol
