Painting Interrior

So I wanna change my interrior color...right now, it's black (as are most 240's stock) but I'm getting my exterrior painted yellow (unless I change my mind) but I wanna change my interrior color. I figure it would probably be cheaper to "DIY" but I wanna do it RIGHT. How do you suggest I do it? What kind of paint? Coating over top? Primer?

I just need some answers plz

try select products. i wouldnt use anything from any local parts store or you will end up with that rice boy spray paint look.

i spray painted some interior panels with regular flat black (or semi gloss). did maybe 4 coats and looks just like stock.

you might have good luck with a plastic paint so it fuses or whatever, but i think colors are limited.

there is a honda accord that a friend of mine owned... he painted everything... encluding his carpet... was a semi nice job... after 6 months you could tell it was painted tho... i know this might be a sin but here are some pics of my old integra show car... only the plastic was painted in the interior... everything else was done by a shop in socal called extreme deminsions...

p.s. the blue accord that you can just see the front end of is the one with the whole interior painted...

on my friend's crx he took SHOE DYE to do the vinyl. i don't think it works on plstic, but he had a lot of parts done. so that could work on whatever is vinyl.

if you painted/dyed your carpet / seats, wouldn't it wear off????

for painting the plastic pieces use krylon fusion. that shet works good. for everything else take it to an upholstery shop.

Make sure before you start spraying on paint you clean it first with rubbing alcohol and spray. Go to the local part store and pick up some can of Bulldog adhesive promoter. That will give your vinyl a better contact surface and flex.
