you could take the stock ones apart and take the fluid out and drill some holes in the plunger-thing... jus some ideas.

the trunk is nice as hell i'd post some pics if i had a camera, it fits like a glove i know a lot of body people complain about after market carbon fiber cuz of all the work they have to do to make it fit but the guys that did my trunk said it was one of the best aftermarket fits they've ever done so i tip my hat to seibon for their work. and to anyone that wants to trade their shocks for mine im up for as long as thier in good condition (ex/ no rust, just weak) but i do warn u although i think its just cuz i was ****in around with my latch one day mine didn't completely lift my trunk either.
