Hey guys!

I have an auto shift in my 1993 240sx, and 80% of the time it gets stuck in park because the shift lock switch won't disengage when I press the brake. When this happens the brake lights also won't turn on. I believe I have to check a switch somewhere connected to the brake. Any one have any idea where this switch is located? Somewhere behind the console? Possibly it is a wiring issue, as I am afraid the brake lights don't work when I am driving!!

 

its right on the brake pedal. once you get under there you will see it for sure.
