hub bearing loose

hub bearing loose

i just went in for an alignment a few weeks ago and they told me that they couldnt align the front becuase the hub bearing was worn out. im not sure if i need to replace the hub bearing or just tighten it because i dont think that the hub bearing is worn out, its a 97.

Jack your car up on the tire they identified as having a bad wheel bearing and if you shake the tire and it wiggles back and forth then you ahve a bad wheel bearing and there is no tightening the wheel bearing only pressing in a new one.

thanks a lot for the help everything u said was happening the wheel was wiggling and i need to get a new hub bearing pressed in thanks!

Yep no problem, I have been through several (Drag racing) they tend to go more often than not.
