popping in front end. while breaking

aight ppl my car for some reason has been popping really loudly in the front end.. only happens when i got in reverse and hit the breaks.. so today igot bored and i took my tension rods off and installed some aftermarket adjustable ones that i had sittin around.. went on just fine..even made my front end shimmey at 55 go away.. BUT the poping is still there.. maybe even harder .. i might be paranoid now .. but it's still poping and also does it when braking while goin forward now too but only sometimes.. i just want to know that i'm not gonna break sumthin and loose it at 65.. that would suck.. any help is appreciated..

i sorda have the same problem. i don't know what it is either but it makes a 'clunk' sound when i tap on the brakes. i'm starting to hear it from the right side rear now also. it's really wierd. my friend said it could be warped rotors, but i haven't quite gotten it checked yet. =T

naw guys.. it's not in the back .. i can feel it and hear it from the front... it's not my brakes either. if it was my brakes it would happen everytime i hit the brakes in forward or reverse.. plus everytime i make it pop sumthing happens to my alignment.. if i do it in reverse it makes me pull hard to the left if it pops in forward my car will start to pull to the right.. it's aight though i'll just change all my links this week to my junkyard car.. my car was wrecked before and sumthin has to be bent that i cant see..
