springs and spring rates

my budget was brutally punished for the holidays and although i already wanted new suspension, i can't decide which springs to buy. i wanted to invest in coilovers, but can't afford it. does anyone know either where i can find spring rates to the different products on the market or does anyone know which has the stiffest. the only one i could find was the teins at 3.8 kgf/mm front and 3.5 rear. THAT'S PRETTY GOOD!!! thats just about 50% over stock!!! i want more though. i am not worried about ride quality at all. i just want the stiffest spring.

Jynx - pull that suspension FAQ out for this guy!

Um... you can try emailing the spring companies you're looking at (Eibach USA, Whiteline, etc.) and I'm sure they'll send you the specs if they're respectable... plus email is free compared to a phone call (for now). By the way I have Tein S-Tech's and they feel really nice - but since they're pretty stiff I'd suggest you plan on getting shocks in the future (once the horror of the holiday shopping has subsided)

Actually I dont have the spring rates for the springs on my FAQ..but I do have an idea of which is the stiffest. The S tech (tein) Are the stiffest ones I have come across. If you want stiffer..your ganna have to graduate to some coilovers.

ok i have done some more research and have found two springs that have higher spring rates. the Eibach sportline (not pro kit) and rs-r heavy duty race spring. H&R race springs are nasty, but they only make the sport spring for s13s. does anyone have any experience with either one???

My Dad's Celica has RS-R HD Springs (with stock shocks) and he complains that it's a little too stiff on the road
