Wheel and tire combo?

What is a good wheel and tire combo if I was to get 17x7 rims?
I would appreciate all the feedback.

17x9 is awsome... if u havent ordered the wheels i suggest u do that with a +20 offset instead of the 17x8 u wont regret. tire size with 17x8 245/45 will be decent. let us know if you change your mind on the sizing :-P
17x9 +20 on 225/45/17

I'd say 18X9 that way you wouldn't have to slam your ride to low. The rims would fit fine in the wheel wells with a 2" drop...
I have the 17X8 and I wish that they were a tad bigger and wider for my 1.8" drop......
Then I would say get some KUHMO Z rated there the cheapest rubber you can get for your ride.

with sucky offset (+35 i assume) one has to add some meat to make up for the battleship imo so 245 is good for 8"

you want to add height not width.
