When i took my car to this guy who works strictly on nissans, he set up my car so that when the BOV goes off it doesn't make that BOV sound... it sounds like its surging? how do i fix that to make use of my BOV again cuz i'm just wasting 200 for my greddy rs if its just going to sit there and not do its job?? any help would be appreciated with pics if possible thanks!!!

 

did he make it recirculate, just take it back to him and tell him to undo whatever he did to it..

 

BOV is an EASY as hell install.

you cannot go wrong with it.
Follow all the lines and see if it's right..and recirc that *****.

 

recirc ftw... compressor surge is a sexy sound too if ya wanna take the bov out completely lol.

 

man dont make him kill his turbo with that bull advice. and if the bov has no air releasing just play with the screw to make it easyier to let air out

ohh yeah make sure u have the vacuum line in place.. and bov not working gonna kill turbo

 

in time, no bov will harm turbo. he probably is just recirculating the air back into the intake.

 

arent most BOV flanges on 240s on the hot pipe? you wouldnt want to be recirculating 300 degree air back thru intake, right? or does it even matter?
