Bout to turbo would like to see your KA-T

I just wanna know how you guys are running your turbo setup on the KA. Where you are putting your MAFS, if the BOV is vented or recirc., what parts you are using, pics would be really sweet. I just wanna get an idea of how I wanna run, plus if anyone has the crazy manifold anything like I got I would love to see it. It is a side mount deal. I haven't seen many like it, exspecially for the KA.

hmmmmmmmmmm....you got me on the position of the maf. I would guess it would have to go between the ic and the tb since the car was non turbo. I wouldn't think you'd have to recirc, again because of it being a non turbo.

Someone enlighten me.

Well I know a little about that. You can postion it prior to the turbo but then you would need to run a recirc BOV becuase once it releases the car will run real rick momentarily and try to stall. you could position it on the cold pipe (between IC and TB) and leave the BOV venting to the atmosphere. That is about all I know about that specific subject. If there is more enlighten me too.

a peek at my temporary setup ... more of a mock up, but it runs, and gives you an idea about how it will end up.

thanks guys

Im running 7psi from a z31 turbo.

its nice because I can change my setup and run different things without too much of a money crunch. its an extra 20 bucks to try a blow through MAF.

easy to drill and get everything placed where I want it eventually.
I just realized that i need to change where my FMU is plumbed, so Ill just drill a hole after the intercooler, and relace my plug. simple as that.

its a lot of fun mocking up many different ideas. thats the best one that weve had so far with a draw through MAF.

flexibility is key!
