KA rebuild questions
I am about to purchase a s13 240sx. I want to set it up for drifting. What is a good compression ratio for a turbo motor? I am either going to rebuild the KA block that comes in it or do a sr swap. either way I want to rebuild the internals so that I can give it you know what. Who makes good rods, pistons, etc. for the KA block. Or the SR block? One last question, I seen where a RB25DET motor will fit, would this be worth it? Also, what would this require? I am sorry if you get a lot of these same questions. Thank you for your time

I terms of rebuilding your ka if you want around 450 wheel hp pauter rods and a good set of forged pistins will go a long way (wiseco, race engineering, arias), that will build your bottom end. I terms of compression ratio the lower you go the more boost you can run but the trade off is your low end torque wont be as good and off the line take off will also be hurt as well. I fyou want to run anything more than 6lbs of pressure I recomend at least new head gasket and arp head studs.
Sr20det and ca18det motors are straight swap (except for the wiring harness). Parts seem to be fairly abundant for the sr20det (not sure about the ca18det). Both can take 350 hp without internal modification I would worry about reliability with any goal above that. And just getting a clip with one of these motors will cost about the same as building a ka would.
Rb series motors are great also. They can reliably handle 450 hp in stock trim. The only drawback here is if you go with an rb20det you will need custom motor mounts to mke it fit, and with an rb25 custom mounts and and a custom drive shaft will be nessary.

i found, cause ive dont 4 sr20s for sentra owners, raceeng.com has the best prices depending on how much power you want you may not need to change your connecting rods check if they stretched hope this helps
