Ka24e-t

I own a '89 240sx and it has the stock KA24E motor and i want to turbo it. I already have a stock Nissan turbo in my house but i need a manifold and other parts(intercooler, piping, etc) but my main question is where can i get a KA24E manifold at? Will a KA24DE manifold work on mine? I know the condition of the engine is a big factor and im already taking care of that. Im gettin the engine built back up with new parts.(will i be able 2 use my stock pistons?)

Thanx in advance 4 any answers.

Get a manifold from a Z18ET. You can find them around sometimes as low as $50

If you need a manifold and a downpipe for the ka-e I have one and am willing to sell it. 3" downpipe and a t3/t4 manifold, never used!!! Quality is awsome! message me for pricing.

You could also checkout Jordan Gladmans website. He has had some pretty nice turboed 240s. You can see his last car at http://ka-t.org/jordan/. Here is his website of manifolds that he makes. http://www.gladmanperformance.com/

I just started planning to turbo my KA24E. I'm thinking 250hp and 250ft/lbs. I want it to spool quick and not rev too high, maybe only 6.5k rpm. If I buy a rebuild kit from Checker or whatever can I get a thick head gasket to drop compression so i can keep the pistons that come with it since its quite low boost or will I have to buy dished pistons and have to sell the ones w/ the kit on Ebay?
