KA24E Turbo ?
It should, with a professional shop doing some work on it with a grinder and some work on the turbo flange. I would not recommend running 10psi on the 200 manifold. The other manifold was built to run from 8-25psi, so 10psi should be no problem. Altough, the stock kae puts down 140hp off the lot while the stock motor pushes around 14.7 psi n/a. The 10psi is almost double the flow and would push the motor to the limit in stock form. If you want to run 10psi you should think about upgrading the pistons, rods, and valve springs and valves. This would not be needed if you only wanted 5-8psi and you would have 200hp with the ability to upgrade later. Don't grenade the motor right away, you'll regret it later.
There's more to engine power than hp. If you wanted all horsepower just get the biggest turbo you could and it will be all top end but none of it is usable on the streets or a drift track. The t3 is pretty big but is pretty basic when building a ka turbo motor. 8 psi would increase the hp on the stock motor with no mods anywhere from 55 to 70 hp. You could always up the boost or lower it any time.
Remember the stock motor pushes a little under 15 psi without any mods. adding a turbo with 8 psi will up the hp 8/15. So a little over 50% hp will be added to the car. Since you sound like a beginner though, you really should keep it under 10psi and start asking a s*** load of questions and get everything off your chest before going a little crazy. If not, you could really make a mechanic happy.
Hope this helped,
Dustin

i'm a beginner only to the ka engines and i dont really know how much hp they can take and such. I turbo'd a 03 tiburon myself and had a 450hp 3000gt that i did all the mods to. I can tell that the ka has potensail but i dont really know how much in stock form. But maybe i will start out with a just a regular .48 A/R t3 for now and like you said up the boost later on it. I'm pretty much taring into the engine now and i've almost got all the new fuel lines in from the tank to the fuel filter. they where rusty and started to leak by the tank so i'm replacing them. I have access to tons of turbo's and turbo parts sence i own my own buisness on the web dealing with such parts. I bought this car accross the country in ohio for $500 and had it shipped and the guy i bought it from told me it ran but needed work. well it didn't run at all. i got it started for less then 3 seconds when i first got it and now the car has come a long way. I've gutted out a lot of the un-needed parts out of the engine bay and made room for the turbo kit. I'm replacing the head gasket as soon as i get it in the mail wich should be in 3-4 days, and as soon as the weather clears. I also need all new rotors and brakes for there all rusted as well. That should pretty much take everyone up to speed on me and my project.
tu-sha my friend. It should look pretty clean when you're done. I bought my coupe for 500 also but i did away with the ka a long time ago. the manifold will be up on ebay sometime this week so if you're interested bid there or email me.
