SR rebuilding

Well I am currentlu in the process of rebuilding an Sr *dont have the clip but have many parts tho* and had some questions. I dont have much cash to spare out so I was wondering if is some new stock pistons would 18 or less psi. is there any place that sells stock SR rods?

Also I have on order a Silk road outlet pipe and was wondering what o2 sensor would fit in it *either the redtops o2 or the blacktops*

thanks for the info people

18psi and a limited amount of funds is not a good idea. Save your money until you can build the bottom end correctly. Either that or limit your boost to 12-14 psi with the stock bottom end... you can buy stock rods, getting some used ones would be a better cost option. Aftermarket new rods would be cheaper than stock ones new...

ask silk roads about their outlet pipe . . my o2 sensor is off a 87 300zx. . for a s13 redtop

like they said don't halfass a SR build, you'll regret it. Check the SR FSM for the parts ##s and go from there.

is the sr blown? if not dont rebuild it. rebuilt engines hardly ever drive like oem ones. especially if your on a limited budget. if it is blown have them shot-peened, the rods that is. as for pistons check out race engineering (www.raceeng.com). good luck.
