i was having a weird problem with my car. could anyone help tell me what the problem could be. so here it is...about a week ago i was driving at around 0.8 bar (im guessin 10 psi est.) and all of a sudden my boost dropped to 0.5 psi and it felt really laggy. and when i got off the freeway, when i try to accelerate too fast and get into the boost, the car feels like its holding back and wont go anywhere? also im capped off at 0.5 bar until i turn off my car and let it sit for a little bit. anyone know what the problem is? i restarted the car and started driving again. it will boost past 0.5 bar like once maybe and then it will drop again. then im capped off at 0.5 bar for the rest of the drive and the car feels almost N/A. could someone help me? could it be the MAFS? or something like that?

also: i tried reseting the ecu but still same problem. hope its not my turbo =T

what mods sounds like a problem with a boost controler if u have one and its just working regularly off the waste gate springs 7psi (.5bar)

 

no boost controller. i was thinking would getting one fix my problem? or its my bov. thanks for reply could i get a little more info please.

 

what turbo are u running whats the set psi pring on the turbo?? .5 psi is ok because .5 psi is 7 pounds of boost wich is most stock turbos if u say u where runing 10 psi there must be a boost controler or u have a case of boost creep. we need mods to help u out i cant guess what u have

 

um, ever since ive had my motor its been boosting at .8 bar. i just have a blitz bov (which might be the case), 3" greddy down pipe, 3" full cat back hks hi-power exhaust. thats pretty much it. my mechanic said i got lucky and got a good motor cuz it was really strong. i dunno, i kno its boosting over stock pressure. its a stock t-25 turbo too. thanks
