if you want more info on ka-t. go to ka-t.org also the ka rods are strong most people just get em checked and straightened and change to arp rod bolts.

Here are some KA basics you need to know....
The KA already comes with oil squirters, thats a plus.
The KA comes with a forged Crank, thats a plus.
Rods and pistons are shot peened steel, not forged, but so is the sr20det red tops, so whats the difference.
Displacement and stoke make more power on KA with less boosting.
Places to get KAT kits are
www.nizzx.com, PHATKAT forums, and yes it was mentioned HEAVY THROTTLE..........
Tired of the SR guys talkin shiat so build a mean *** KA.
Plus half the people talk big shiatthat they can majorly boost with SR.... Really half the peons once they installed the SR can't afford the major upgrades like larger turbo, manifolds and injectors.
Believe me KAT without forged internals wrecks shop, on your basic redtop JDM SR. Just don't boost over 12 psi on 550cc injection, your good to go.......
