what needs to be removed
i was kinda looking at my car today and noticed that i had to move a few things around under the hood to fit in the turbo 1990 ka24e 123000 miles , t3 turbo gladman manifold , i see that the brake booster is in the way along with the brake res. and a few other things in that vicinity , are these neccessary to be removed or disconnect untill the turbo set up is finished or should the car be put on a lift and setup from underneath also, what else am i going to need to remove

you shouldnt have to remove the brake booster and res. to put the turbo and manifold on, but if you feel the need to remove it to have more room then be my guest. like waynehead said you will have to remove the egr system as well as the AIV system.

aiv is the the baffle box right(thats what i was told a while ago while install my intake) the little black box on the drives side right infront of the brake booster

the egr pipe and valve is located on the back of the intake manifold between that and the firewall... it is a pain to get to and in most cases it is pretty well rusted and the fittings will not come apart from the egr valve... i made a cheap egr block off plate and removed the whole valve on my motor...

the tube is thin wall and a pain to weld... you could try it but most times it will just melt... the ghetto option is to bend the pipe over and hammer it flat close to the valve... i would rather make the cheap egr plate and call it good...

remove the 2 bolts that hold the fitting onto the egr valve... trace the piece you removed onto some 1/4 inch metal and cut it out... drill 2 holes in it to attach it back onto the egr vavle... apply silicone to the piece you made and reinstall to the egr valve with new bolts... thats what i did... then i welded up the holes in my exhaust...
