Z 5-speed

I have a few q's about putting a 83 280zx turbo 5 speed into my 92 240 with a KA. Is it possible that it will work or not at all? And if it will work, what will I need to get it installed? Any info is appreciated

if your going to install a non ka manual tranny on a ka.. why dont you install the 6speed of the 300zx ? just a thought..

isnt the 300ZX tranny a 5 speed?

AFAIK, it is. methinks the 350 is the first (and currently only) Z car to feature a 6 spd. on the orginal question, i'm certain the bellhousing is diffrent from the 280 to the 240. and while i'm not 100% sure, i'm thinking the internals are different, too...
