Took a while to post, but i took back my redtop last thursday(11/8)which was a 3 hour drive and picked up my black top sr. I started on the swap at 9:30 and had the sr up an running by midnight. Which is pretty good i think. It runs great and it also came with an ARC induction box. Which i checked out and they appear to be pretty expensive.

But i got another question. Where do you guys hook up your wastegate vacuum line. I have mine going from the wastegate to the large vacuum nipple off the throttlebody/intake mani. Also were do you run your boost gauge from. I have mine running off the cold pipe from the side mount. But i was told that i need to Tee into the line that runs to my wastegate for my boost gauge. Because for some reason my boost gauge is reading 10 psi at wot and i dont think that is right.

the wastegate vacuum should go to a nipple you make in the hot pipe, the boost gauge should make a tee with the throttle body and the fuel pressure regulator, and the vacuum line next to the one that goes to the fuel pressure regulator on the throttle body should go to the BOV.

if you have a stock side mount there should be a nipple for the vacuum line already on it.

i have a nipple on the cold pipe. I think the nipple on the hot pipe has been cut off and plugged before i got the sidemount.

EDIT: i did not see a nipple on the hot side, can i just use the nipple on the cold pipe?

I'll take that sidemount off your hands when you put the frontmount on!
