what is the reason behind the lag, you didnt provide ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH INFO for us to help you.
Its like you just went to the doctors, said "It hurts, give me some pills" without telling him what or how.
Dont get mad at us because you cant describe your problem.
Maybe its your injectors maxing out, maybe its low fuel pressure, maybe its a bad wiring connection, MAYBE YOU ARE LEANING OUT AND DETONATING???
Complete setup & exact problem will help diagnose.

Higher boost naturally results in more lag. It takes the turbo longer to achieve a higher psi. It is gradual. It doesn't just jump from 0-14psi. If anything you should notice that on the way to 14psi you should reach the stock 7psi quicker as the wastegate is staying closed longer. Now if you have a boost leak then that is different. Check all your connections. The MAF should having nothing to do with it. The stock one is still good at 1 BAR.
