Overheating Problems?

Hey everyone, Ive had my red top swapped in my car for about a year now, but this is my first summer. The problem is that when i drive to work, there is a hill that i always overheat on. I dont overheat really bad, but the needle gets a little in the red. Im replacing my radiator hopfully by my next paycheck but what i wanted to know is if there was any damage done to my motor from the heat. Also advice on which radiator and if i should change out the thermostat would be great. Thanks guys.

well....redtops always have run hot. if im not mistaking, people reccomend upgradeing your radiator with the swap(if $ is there) because the oem one has a hard time keeping up.
i put a koyo aluminum one in my car with the swap. i highky reccomend the koyo

even with the koyo mine gets a little hotter then what i want it to but its cools off super fast
