Question Overheating...help

My 90 is overheating. Before it would overheat only in hot weather and when the A/C is on. But only in bumper to bumper traffic.

I changed the Radiator and thermostat. But it still overheated when the A/C is on and in bumper to bumper traffic. Today, it overheated without the A/C on, in bumper to bumper traffic.

What's going on here. Is the water pump next. Do I have a head gasket problem. There's now a small leak around the belt area, on the driver side. It's very small amount of coolant, but it's leaking periodically. It's not coming from the thermostat...any ideas, please help.

i have no idea, i have the same problem in my 81 corolla... one way to reduce the heat though is to run your heater on full...

oh and be sure to have your windows down when you do this :P

do you have electric fans or anything, or a fan connected to the water pump? My fans stopped working and I overheated fast as hell. I don't remember if you said you flushed your radiator or not, but you can try doin that. anyways good luck with your problem. It also sounds like you've got a bad head gasket, youmight also want to check your coolant return lines. good luck!

check the coolant..and check that the fan actually works! Sometimes the Fan actually would dsiconnect or sumthing and not work at all. Happen to my friend.
