oh yeah a tip too. I loaded my engine set from the bottom, so I had to undo the coupler for the steering. It's impossible by yourself to get it lined up again as you jack the crossmember into place, but you can loosen the 4 bolts that hold the steering rack in place(under the crossmember at an angle 17mm), rotate it forward a little and slip the coupler back on.

More RB20 swap is coming soon, I just got another order in so I've been kinda busy. Wiring is coming soon, very soon because I need to get my car on the road.

Hey, how are you doing the wiring? I am so stuck on that. Is there any way to get a new maf plug, mine was cut off when I got it and when they sent me the one they said is for it, isn't. Any info you can give me since we are at about the same spot, would help a lot. Thanks!

I'm using the KA lower harness, and the RB upper. I think there's only one plug to deal with getting the switched + and constant + to the harness and ECU, the rest of the wires inside the car just need to be used to make the guages work. I'll be starting on it next week I'm racing auto-x this weekend and I've been getting my other car ready.

OK, just let me know for sure cause it seems like a lot when I look at it.

One more thing that I thought of. There is a little vacum hose off the back of the intake above the master brake vacum line or next to it. What is it, and where does it go to? Thanks

That goes to the sensor that went to the R32's boost guage. Good place to hook up your aftermarket boost guage or plug it.

Here's what I'm running this weekend, not to thread jack or anything. It looks like MG, powered my mazda, and the rest is a little bit of everything Japanese. You want low-dollar used parts bin action this car is it. Too bad there's no room I'd put a SR20DET in it. The rotary is really light tho and the sidepipe shoots fire when I shift

Looks fun to drive!! I can't wait to get my car done. So I can play!!

Thanks for that info on the boost gauge, I had it ran with my boost controller so I am going to change it now. Do you happen to know where to hook up a oil pressure gauge to?

The stock sensor is right down next to the oil filter, you can remove it and install your fitting or I'd recomend a T fitting and leave them both installed. They will be metric threads so be prepared for a visit to the fitting store.

oh yeah- did good at the solo-2 event yesterday, 1st place in A modified(my class) and 2nd overall. 1st overall was a turbocharged Miata running 16 PSI That's like 80 more WHP than me so I don't feel too bad.

Hey!! one more question about wiring. How are you doing the dash wiring? I have the stock gauge cluster, and I'm not changing it out. BTW good job at the race!! I wish mine was running so I could drive it.
