car is dying

everytime i let my car sit for about 8-10 hours or in other words while i'm at work or asleep she almost dyes. in the mornings when i crank her the clock will disapear and the radio won't come on untill after i hit the gas. i have no idea what can be wrong. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated as always.

check the battery (acid corrosion, grounding, etc)
check the alternator
just to be safe, check the fuses (drivers side kick panel)

i sent you a pm but i never heard anything back. i'll e-mail you now.

the battery is brand new like 2 weeks old. if you disconnect the negative terminal the car still runs so i don't think it's the alternator but i'll do that test again then i'll check the fuzes. any other ideas...

i know i'm stating the obvious... but you don't have any electronics or something aftermarket that is hardwired to the battery and staying on do you?

do you ever have any problems cranking?

nope nothing is hardwired. sometimes it's hard to crank like on monday morning if i drove my other car for the weekend. i have to give it gas to get it crunk and i have to reprogram my radio.
