Just got back from vaca, thanks for all the posts, im def gonna see what he wants for it cause the price needs to be lowered. Thanks for all the posts and ill keep you guys up to date

 

I traded my old fc for my 240 which is an auto. Everything tallied up will be around 700 for the engine provided being slighty refreshed with new gaskets and head studs, resurfaced etc, and all the misc tranny things I need. LOL and the tranny, drive shafts, master cylinder, pedal, hard lines, etc, and spare engine was already provided. I have no idea how much it would have been without all that stuff lol.



It probably can be done for cheaper buying predominantly cheaper oem parts but I see no point in buying oem when I will just rip it out and replace it later for something that only costs 30-100 bucks more thats more suited for the type of driving I will do.

 

So did you get the car...if so, how much??

 

ive been talking with the guy, he will not lower the price and its at 5000 right now... annoying but w/e... i guess ill have to find another car. Also if anyone is interested in it i can give ya his phone number

 

yea **** that car and he is nuts.. feel free to to email him the link to this thread.. he is out of control with a price like that for a stock car... you don't sell car based on what someone is going to do to it.. and your right you don't have to pay anything over that value.. the only way he can up that value is if he has recently restored something on it..
