A buddy of mine has a 240 and he uses 40 nsted of 30. He claims that it gives him better performance, etc. I was wondering if going for the 40 weight actually helps like he said it does.
If it actually does help I was thinking about switching to the 40.

Oil giving you more hp? hmmmmm hes lying, lol. If you wanna accually protect your motor, stick to what nissan recommends, they dont reccomend it for nothin. After all, they are the ones who designed the motor. I run 10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter.

why dont you just run 5w30 allyear round thats why its called a double weight oil anyway.

 

Cause in 105 degree weather my 5w30 thins out real quick. So I just use 10w30. I could use 5, but I dont so.

Im in washing DC man, its 6:40 in the mornin right now. I haev to be at work at 430 in the morning monday- friday. I dont even have muc work to do so I just post all day, lol. I get off work at 1pm though so I have the WHOLE day to just chill. Where are you located?

sunny san diego CA.. im at werk too.. hospital.. i mostly post too.. but my boss doesnt really like it.. listen to 'launch.yahoo.com' too i get off werk at 0730am.. so.. i usually go to sleep when i get home.. wake up around 3pm and chill wid hommies.. then go back to werk postin up.. fun eh??
