Thumbs up How to remove headlights?

I want to remove the headlights on my zenki s14 to sand them. I do not know how many bolts hold them in and which ones to unscrew. How many bolts are there? Where are they located? And how do i unscrew the two bolts located near the corner lights? Ty for your responses

dude, go down there and stare..it's not that hard to figure out.

I think you had an idea to take 'em off and went straight to the forums to ask.

That sucks.

Yeah I have been messing with them. I am having problems taking the grille off, I took the two bolts off of the top of it, and it won't come off. What else is holding it on there? Oh, and BTW, if you helghast, have taken off these lights before, why wouldn't you want to be kind and help a person do it that doesn't have much experience working on their car? It would be more helpful if you would respond with good information, rather than wasting your time typing a message that doesn't help anybody. Please respond with useful information my friend.

yank straight up to remove the grill.
one screw on each side that holds the corner lights to the headlights, remove that.
pull the corner light straight forward and they'll pop out.
2bolts on the inner side of the headlights and 2nuts under the cornerlights.

That was a very helpful response ConceptS14. Does the grille have to be removed to remove the headlights? I just attempted to pull the grill off, but it feels like there is something holding it in there.

There should be 2 additional screws mounted on the bottom of the grill if you haven't remove those yet.

Something is odd with my grille. I removed the two top plastic screws. I also removed two metal bolt screws that were below those. After removing those 4 screws it still feels like something is holding the grille on. I was pulling it very hard, and a part of the grill started to crack because it was not coming off. On the FSM it shows some clips on the right and left side, but the FSM is very vague and it is hard do determine where those clips are and what those clips look like when looking at the grille. I appreciate the help so please keep it coming.

How are you gonna learn if you don't do it yourself.

Damn, I swear people these days expect all the help. No one ever tries anymore.

That grill is hella stuck, yank harder..I doubt you'll break anything.

Do you guys know if the grille has to be removed to remove the headlights? Or can it be done with it in place?

I got the corner lights off, and all of the headlight bolts off. The grille is the last thing i need to remove. It will not budge, and I am afraid of breaking it. Do you guys have any tips on how to remove it?

Alright my friends, after reading some threads on Zilvia, I decided that I needed to use some wd40. After spraying the clip locations, the grill popped off effortlessly. Thank you for all of your responses.
