What is going on? I install an aftermarket intake today and now my car idles at 5000rpm. I really dont know what to do. I think i need to reset the ecu since our cars dont seem to have a manual idle control. Anybody know how to do that? I need HELP!!!!! I HAVE A 95 240 KA24DE

yeah ummm 5000 is kinda crazy..... did you accidentally find someway to get ur throttle stuck open when u put the intake on so essentially the gas pedal is being pushed down all the time, and ur car just starts up and is bouncing off the rev limiter?

I highly doubt the car will start with the throttle stuck wide open. It will flood out, backfire, ect..

it will start... mine did... it was stuck wide open somehow when I started it... someone messed with the throttle cable screw.. things....it would rev up to 5000rpms... I adjusted those, and it was fine.
