yea you couldnt tell from the top must of happen while i was wrking on it i had some family over and about 3 kids got in deep **** for play in my car. but i got a new one so what ever. i dont know how it happened but it did. weird.....

just to let you know james, the ka motor isnt really a power beast past 5k rpms anyway. its not a high revving honda motor w/ vtec. just read all u can and learn all u can. good luck.

is there anything i can do about that???see im not real shure what i can do other than tune the ecu. to help the high rpm power range.

the ka motor is a motor designed to have low end torque, not high rpm horsepower. its just the way it was made. like im not supposed to be skinny, the ka isnt really supposed to rev high. if u want to rev high and have power up top, get a new exhaust and exhause header and redo everything in the head. new valves, springs, port and polish, whatever your heart desires. or you could boost it. im not sure ur gonna wanna do that if ur car has a lot of miles. basically if u want a high revving motor, swap in an sr motor and ditch the ka. like i said, read up on everything u can and decide whats gonna make u happy.

also the harmonic vibration of the stock KA crankshaft kills its pwer at hight RPM's a KA can be a monster NA motor when fully built with fully counter weighted crank shaft rods pistons and fully built head

what about the cam what if it were unbalanced would it do what i described? as unlikely as it is, in theory would it?
