S14 5speed swap trouble
S14 5speed swap trouble
I'm changing out the pedals in my 96 in preparation for my 5-speed swap and I've hit a little snag. I've got the brake pedal completely unbolted and it moves around freely, but I'm unable to get it out. On the sides it's hitting the metal parts that the steering column brace bolts to. Up high it's hitting one of the A/C ducts.
How should I get it out? The FSM is entirely useless in this regard.
I have gotten the pin that connects it to the brake booster out.
Also, anybody have any tips for installing the clutch pedal?
Thanks
On a side note, It's been one year since I registered here. It's kinda hard to believe that I've had a 240 for such a short time (since Sep.) even though I've been looking for one for a whole year.
