my ac does not work on my 240, so is it wise to strip the ac? is it a hard job and will the car be faster? plz help a noob

 

seeing as you live in san fran it wouldnt hurt to take out the A/C, howevere this does not make the car "faster" it does however give you back some of the HP that it was robbing from the engine due to the extra length belt needed to power the A/C. The only thing you might notice is that it is a bit more responsive.

 

more torque would mean that the car would go faster then

so if i were to strip the ac and install a racing pulley i would really feel a very good gain in hp?
