that's weird. most cars i've been around that act up do it around idle or when the rev back down to idle.
like stop signs, or lights

so whats up, sis your tune up work?

def a fluke cus we have discussed this before . his car was stored for awhile before he bought it. cars dont run for awhile sometimes they stall. also, if you have a problem with stalling in the rain it is because you need a new distributor cap. water gets inside, and does now allow spark to be distributed. if you cannot get your cap changed right way then buy some sort of distributor cap dryer. i forgot which brands make it. but its a simple spray and its prolly sold at pep boys, autozone, strauss etc. just a tip. anymore questions hit the 15 year old up on aim at bserieshatch69 .

peep the extra voltage/ohms in your engine bay..
my car idles funny because my motor isn't grounded properly.
i've made a coup[le jumper wires to the bad grounds and that helped a ton. but there are a few extra ohms floating around that i need to take care of.
looks like it time for a hyper ground

yea mine is doing that right now. When i first got the car in february me and my friend got a wiring diagram and went through and removed all emissions equipment, whenever its cold outside i have to hold the gas to about 2000 rpms for a minutes or so to get the engine to idle, bc i no longer have a warm up sensor. however the engine temp sensor is still there the car ran great for 2 months. I also changed the oil, flushed the radiator, put a TT 300ZX fuel filter on, and a cone filter on. i just recently replace the rotor button, distributor cap, plugs and plug wires on the car. and it was running fine. last weeki noticed when i stomped the gas and it was in the lower rpms it sorta stalled , like it would start to go then the gas would let off and it would do it 3 consecutive times in about 1.5 seconds then take off. so i thought maybe it was getting too much air , or i had a vacuum leak. so yesterday i was sitting at a red light and when i went to pull out the car just died. it wouldnt start for like 10 minutes or so, and then all of a sudden it cranked right up. so i pulled out and drove down the highway a little to turn around and head back to my bud's garage and when i gave it gas it acted like it was gonna stall out. but then it was fine. so i went back to his house and got vacuum lines and recapped my lines replace a hose that was cracked and it seemed to fix the problem. well today it stalled again, same thing happened. I went through and checked each spark plug to see that they were firing, i checked my fuel injectors for leakage, and for firing... all was well. it tries to start fine, just wont turn over, so i know its not my battery or alternator... so im gonna run a compression test bc it seems like its dropping a cylinder..

can anyone help me out?

also, my car is missing bad at 500-700 rpms [idling] it sounds like an aftermarket cam [ SOHC KA24E ] so im wondering if this could have anything to do with my stalling problem? its always idled like that and it didnt stall until this week, now its recurring. anyways. Help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

thanks-
