HICAS in my opinion is accurate. Down fall to hicas is that it is a heavy hydraulic unit, and it does use HP. In my opinion with added HP to a KA "mods or turbo" or swap to an SR20det it would be fun, but not in stock 240 trim.
But I think we should let Raine add his 2cent's, I havent driven a 240 with super hicas, only a Qfeezy.

hey vinnie, im chill man, i know this is the forums. im just a lil frustrated when people think i totally fail to understand the mechanics of a vehicle. i fully understand that HICAS is just like quadrasteer on a chevy silverado, but i was thinking about the posibilities of modding the system. in theory, if you swap the hydraulic lines going into the actuator, the HICAS system would sort of help in the aid of losing rear traction. i wouldnt know for sure if that's what it would do or not without trying it, but it was just a casual idea.

it dosent work like quadra steer at all it only works above like 50 mph or somthing and it turns the wheels the same direction as the front wheels not the oppasite way and dosent make the turning circle smaller at all

you can still easily drift on a hicas car it hardly makes a difference and it does break because i blew up my hicas block at 210 and it hit my exhaust and smoked everywhere with atf smoke

however with all that said i would still like to remove it it makes highway turns at highspeed and lane changes much smoother

No, SUPER HICAS (on the Z32) works like that, not regular HICAS on 240sx's

AWH whats up DTS I see in your sig you have freeway signs in KILOMETERS, you wouldn't happen to be from Canada? I believe when I surf through nico for info I have seen a couple of your post also.. Welcome aboard even though this forum says your noob, I know other wise......

You should also state your 210 in KmH. It may confuse some people out here with MPH.........

Also to prevent the hydralic from blowing up can't you just use a larger light weight aluminum pulley for the pump, and also free some HP?
