Update: I think I found the problem (pics)
ok...i installed it. After cutting the wires I THEN realized i needed a crimp terminal. Went and got one. I had to cut a small hole in the fuse box and pull the wires through it so they would reach. hooked everything up and it cranks perfectly.
******* it it happened again today. I swallowed my pride and took it to sears to get the battery and alternator checked. Both were fine. So then the mech. comes out with a hammer and taps my starter. Well...thats it. Its the starter. They want $240 for a new one plus $80 labor. bwhahaha....yeah right.
80 bucks to install is almost worth it... getting to that upper bolt with the car on the ground is a pain in the ***... but if you are still commin up here to do your timing we can do it all then... get the starter from o'reillys much cheaper with a lifetime...
